The Springville High School Marching Band hosted a countywide St Clair Band Expo on Thursday, September 13 at the Springville High School Stadium. Bands from high schools across the county were showcased and the UAB Marching Band performed. 

The Alabama State Department of Education awarded Springville Elementary as one of the 50 schools that will share $1 million allotted by the Alabama Legislature during the 2018 legislature session. SES received a $20,000 check. The award is to recognize teachers and students who achieved proficiency in reading during last year’s Scantron Performance Series Reading Assessment.

The SHS football players helped with carline at the Elementary School on Friday, September 14.

  • Sunrise Walking Group meets on Fridays at the bridge at Big Springs Park at 9:30 a.m.
