The months of working out, running and camps all came to an end last week for the Moody Blue Devil football team. New Coach Adam Wallace got his first look at his team with the start of practice last Monday.
The Blue Devils will bring a new look to go along with the new attitude this fall. Moody will host a Fall Jamboree for the first time in many years next Friday Night against the Douglas Eagles. Moody will open the season Friday Night, August 31, at Etowah County.
Moody is looking to do some things they haven’t done in a while. A playoff berth being one and the other ending a two season losing streak to rival St. Clair County. Moody will host the Saints in week two and will play rival Springville later in the season. Both teams are in the region with the Blue Devils, along with Munford, Central Clay County, Mortimer Jordan, Center Point, and Sylacauga.
It looks to be an exciting and challenging season for the Blue Devils.
