CVES collect teddy bears for Lakeside Hospice

The February service project for Coosa Valley Elementary School (CVES) Jr. Beta Club, led by sponsor Jill McCombs, was a Teddy Bear Drive. They partnered with Lakeside Hospice to meet a need to supply patients with a teddy bear as a source of comfort. Students collected around 40 teddy bears!
Elizabeth ‘Bit’ Thomaston, along with Lizzie Burns from Lakeside Hospice, came to CVES on Monday to collect the bears and speak with the Jr. Beta members about Lakeside Hospice and volunteer opportunities.
