Congrats to the SCCHS Wrestling Team for placing 3rd in the Iron Eagles Dual Tournament at Coosa High School in Rome, Ga. this past weekend. Coach Edwards had this to say “Our young guys are starting to show their abilities and this will be a team to watch at the end of the season”. Coach Whitfield agrees. “I’m proud of how our guys came to compete. We talk in practice about how we want to wrestle with relentless effort and let the score take care of itself. [Last night] I felt like we made a big step toward making that a reality.” One name you may hear a lot this season is Evan Scribner. Word has it that he is the one to keep an eye one. Way to go Guys! Keep up the hard work!
