“Hunchback of Notre Dame” begins July 13

The Leeds Arts Council’s summer musical –“Hunchback of Notre Dame” begins July 13.

The performances on Friday’s July 13, 20 and 27 and Saturday’s July 14, 21 and 28 will begin at 7 p.m. The Sunday performances on July 15, 22 and 29 will begin at 2 p.m. All tickets are $15.00.

This is a new musical based on the Victor Hugo novel and the songs from the Disney film retelling Victor Hugo’s epic story of love, acceptance and what it means to be a hero. It is rated PG.  Produced by Sandi Nicholson and directed by Cliff Keen, Jr., along with Assistant Directors Rachael Arledge and Andrew Brown bring to you the magic of this truly unforgettable musical with a sweeping score and a very powerful story.

Cast includes David Pohler as Quasimodo; Jalen J. Brown as Phoebus; Cliff Keen, Jr. as Dom Claude Frollo; and Kaylee Ramey as Esmeralda.

Others in the cast are: Bill Allen, Michael Allen, Chelsea Blackmon, Ty Davis, Clark French, Kelly French, Sean Frost, Sage Gardner, Annaleigh Holloway, Steve Halsey, Julia Jones, McKenzie, Ramey, Ashley Richardson, Gracie Riley, Tommy Riley, Wendy Riley, Stacy Ross, Carrie Self, JD Short, Harper Soilleau, Zak Taylor and Beth Vaughn. 

The Theatre and Arts Center is located at 8140 Parkway Drive in Downtown Historic Leeds and is handicapped accessible.
