Leeds and Moody business districts are continuing to grow. We have a brand new business that just opened, Timeless Treasure Shoppe. Christy Townsend is the owner and she is so excited about opening in downtown Leeds. Originally from Birmingham, Christy moved here about seven years ago. She managed Cato Fashions for around five years and began going to estate sales approximately one year ago. Christy found that she had a passion for estate sales and enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, never knowing what she would find. She started buying chalk painted items, mostly furniture, which led to buying other treasures.
These items, she found, deserved new homes where they would be loved just as they had before; thus, the idea of Timeless Treasure Shoppe was born. With Christy’s family love and support, she took a leap of faith, loving what she was doing, and found a fabulous little empty building in downtown Leeds. Where else would she go but the very city she lived in and loved?

Christy brings you a fun place to find a treasure, serving Leeds, Moody, and surrounding areas, while pursuing this new dream of re-homing once loved and cherished items. The shoppe’s inventory currently exists of antique and vintage furniture, oil paintings, collectible glassware, knick-knacks galore, vintage jewelry, new jewelry and most recently some new boutique blouses. She hopes to add more soon. You never know what you will find in the Timeless Treasure Shoppe.
Current hours of operation are Monday-Thursday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday to be determined or by appointment. Christy lives, shops, and dines in Leeds, so she is always just a moment away! The address for this little treasure of a shop is 8139 Parkway Drive, Leeds, in the old Sassy Monkey/Leeds Jewelry Store across from Leeds Art Council and Tucker Auction. Be sure to stop in to see this new shoppe. She will be holding a grand opening and ribbon cutting soon.
Recent ribbon cuttings include Bob Watkins Realty who relocated to Leeds and is located at 1927 Courson Street. Their company has been in business for over 50 years and were previously located in Hoover. Bob Watkins Realty specializes in foreclosures and short sales, but also sell traditional residential and commercial properties. Agents Andy and Debbie Watkins are excited to have their office close to home.
