A huge ‘Way To Go’ to the SCCHS 2018 Senior Elite: Jade England, Taylor England, Chotsani Holifield, Molly Levan, Rikiya Robinette, Lexi Robison, Braden Brasher, Legaries Collins, Jayce Fisher, Levi Foster, Dwight Oursso, and Garrett Sanders. Taylor England and Garrett Sanders were also each awarded a scholarship from Advanced Disposal. The Senior Elite is chosen based on pre-determined criteria by the teaching and administrative staff.
Congrats to Odenville Intermediate School fourth grader Nicholas Barclay on winning the 2018 St. Clair County History Fair. Using the Ash family as inspiration for his project, Barclay recreated the Ash Newton Cabin and The John Ash House. Excellent work Nicholas!

OIS raised a total of $1,613.68 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Awareness! We are blessed to be able to make this generous donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Mrs. Blankenship’s class raised the most money with $300.54. Awesome job gang!
The news just keeps getting better at OIS! Davey at 104.7 WZZK delivered 4th grade teacher Mrs. Lovell the “Terrific Teacher Award”. She was nominated by two of her students. Way to go Mrs. Lovell!
Saints Baseball is hitting them out of the park with wins over Victory Christian and Fultondale. Saints Softball had a huge win over Leeds last Monday night in a come from behind score of 12-11 and a 2-0 win over John Carroll last Wednesday. Way to go teams!
OYAA will have pre-season tournaments beginning with softball March 15-17 and baseball 19-24. Opening Day is March 31.
