Burglary suspect caught in Pell City

On November 17, Pell City Police Department responded to the 800 Block of 7th Court North in Pell City. 

The elderly resident reported that a white male suspect had kicked open her door and wanted to take her medication.  The suspect fled the scene in a USA Communication’s vehicle. 

Pell City Officers began looking for the suspect, Clinton Benjamin Isbell.  He was taken into custody and charged with Burglary 2nd Degree. Isbell is currently being held in at the St. Clair County Jail. 

Pell City Police Chief Paul Irwin stated, “I am proud of the continued efforts of the Pell City Police Department and their determination in locating this criminal and removing him from the community.  Our patrol officers and detectives work really well together each day when there is a crime committed, getting the information necessary in locating the individuals committing these type crimes and taking them in custody.”
