Funeral services for Mrs. Jacqueline June Rodgers, 79, of Cropwell, will be Thursday (today), February 28, 2008 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Friends will be received at the church at 10:00 a.m.

A private burial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Clair Memorial Gardens with the family.

Mrs. Rodgers passed away Monday, February 25, 2008 at St. Vincent St. Clair Hospital in Pell City.

She is survived by her husband, Cecil O. Rodgers of Cropwell, Alabama; daughter, Anne Forister of Cropwell, Alabama; two sons, Michael Rodgers of Hamilton, Alabama, Eddie Rodgers of Jacksonville, Florida; sister, Yolie Roy of Cropwell, Alabama; grandchildren, Cory Rodgers, Ashley Rodgers, Christen Forister.

Mrs. Rodgers was born in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario Canada. She was raised in Kapuskasing, Ontario Canada. Mrs. Rodgers attended Ottawa University where she received her nursing degree before moving to Sylacauga, Alabama where her parents resided.

Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City will direct the services.
