The Christian Love Pantry in Pell City received a donation of 319.6 pounds of food from Fisher Tank Company and a check for $1000 to help feed families in need.

Fisher Tank Company held a company-wide food drive within the company’s three offices in Leesville, SC, Chester, PA, and Pell City. Each office was challenged to collect food for families in need. Between the employees at each office, over 1300 pounds of food was collected for local charities.

The company also donated $3 for every pound of food donated and employees at the Pell City office rounded the amount to an even $1000.

“We can stretch that (money) to 3-tons of food,” Alan Foster, Executive Director of the Christian Love Pantry said.

Currently, the Christian Love Pantry feeds over 3000 families a year in the St. Clair County region.
