Ken Crowe has served St. Clair County as the commissioner of District 2 since 2008, and now will serve the county as the new revenue commissioner.

Crowe was appointed by Gov. Kay Ivey to the position after Elizabeth Mealer retired on Dec. 1. Mealer completed 14 years as Revenue Commissioner. Crowe was sworn-in at a ceremony on Friday, Dec. 22 by St. Clair County Probate Judge Mike Bowling at the St. Clair County Courthouse.

“I have enjoyed serving with (Crowe) on the St Clair County Commission,” said St. Clair County Commissioner Tommy Bowers.  “I now look forward to working with (him) in the county’s Revenue Department.”
