Breaking new ground and creating new jobs

- Heritage South Credit Union CEO Daphne Harrell, HSCU board members Jim Morgan and Randall Morris recently broke ground on their newest branch, supported by Moody community leaders.
Heritage South Credit Union is not only breaking ground on its latest branch located at Parkway Drive in Moody it’s helping the City of Moody create jobs.

With an approximate open date slated for this fall Heritage South Credit Union is looking to staff its newest addition.
Initially the branch will hire four to five employees as they will need a branch manager, tellers, a loan officer and a member services rep.
“We encourage everyone who’s looking to go through the website, www.myhscu.com,” said Heritage South Credit Union’s Chief Executive Office Daphne Harrell.
This 2,700 square foot branch is the largest of its kind for Heritage South.
Headquartered in Sylacauga for the last 70 years, Heritage South is eager to deliver “service, strength and safety” to the Moody branch.
Known as “Your Community Credit Union,” the Moody Heritage South Credit Union will have three drive-thrus and an ATM.

Excited by the warm welcome they’ve received from Moody Mayor Joe Lee, Moody City Council and the Moody Area Chamber of Commerce, Harrell looks forward to Heritage South Credit Union having a big presence in its new town.
“Everyone’s been so supportive,” said Harrell. “We’re very proud to be able to bring our services to the residents of Moody and be a part of the community.”
