Courtneys celebrate 60th

Rev. and Mrs. A. L. Courtney, Jr. celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on August 17, 2017.  They were married at East Tallassee Baptist Church.  They have two children, Amy Marott (Geoff), and Michael (Traci), as well as four grandchildren, Courtney, Laurel, Emile, and Kyndall.  They have also been blessed with four great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Cason, Cash, and Lilli.  A.L. and Myra met while attending Samford University (then Howard College) and married shortly thereafter.  They have been honored to serve many churches in a pastorate capacity and have loved and been loved by so many.  As a pastor, A.L., with Myra by his side, has been involved in ministering to literally hundreds of people, marrying many couples and burying many loved ones.  If you desire, you may send a note or card to P.
