28 people arrested in St. Clair warrant roundup

Twenty-eight people were arrested during the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division felony drug warrant round up on April 8, 10, and 11. 

The Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators were assisted by Pell City and Moody Police Department’s Narcotics Units, Ashville PD, Ragland PD, Argo PD, Margaret PD, Odenville PD, and Springville PD. Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators and assisting law enforcement traveled countywide during the drug warrant round up attempting to locate and arrest wanted felons.

The 28 people arrested on charges ranging from felony and misdemeanor drug crimes that included possession of methamphetamine and the unlawful possession of prescription medication. Subjects were also arrested that were wanted for crimes that included felony thefts and a sex offender violation. 

New cases were made on a convicted felon who possessed a firearm, and another individual for possessing methamphetamine in the presence of children.

Suspects arrested in the round up are as follows:

ASHVILLE

Aldredge Holmes, 45, Ashville arrested for failure to appear on charges of Unlawful possession of a controlled substance, FTA Escape 1st, FTA Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to elude.

Catherine Giles, 47, of Ashville arrested on Illegal possession of prescription drugs.

Loyalton Ledlow, 42, of Ashville, arrested for Unlawful Distribution of a controlled substance.

Tamara Hunt, 55, of Ashville arrested for Unlawful Distribution of a controlled substance. 

Mark Cox, 48, of Ashville arrested for Possession of marijuana 1st degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Swann, 35, of Ashville arrested for Unlawful Distribution of a controlled substance. 

Clay Bearden, 57, of Ashville-Unlawful Distribution of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana 2nd degree.

LEEDS

Ashley Reaves, 34, of Leeds arrested for failure to appear charges for Possession of a controlled substance. 

Amber Johnson, 34, of Leeds arrested for Theft of property 1st degree. 

Charlene Brown, 32, of Leeds arrested for Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and promoting prison contraband.

MOODY

Phillip Atkinson, 35, of Moody arrested for Failure to Appear charge for Unlawful Possession of a controlled substance.

Kevin Hamlett, 37, of Moody, arrested for Failure to Appear on charges for Unlawful Possession of a controlled substance. 

Evans Russ, 23, of Moody arrested for Attempting to elude and certain person forbidden to possess a firearm. 

ODENVILLE 

Brian Ramey, 47, of Odenville arrested for Unlawful Distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd degree. 

Roland Johnson, 35, of Odenville arrested for Sorna (sex offender) violation.

Brandy Wood, 34, of Odenville arrested for Failure to appear on charges of Unlawful Possession of a controlled substance and Failure to appear on DUI Controlled Substance.

Kevin Brock, 49, of Odenville arrested for Failure to appear on charges of Unlawful Distribution of a controlled substance and escape 1st degree. 

Anthony Grillo, 32, of Odenville arrested for Unlawful Distribution of a controlled substance.

PELL CITY

Brenton Trammell, 20, of Pell City arrested for Unlawful Possession of a controlled substance.

Lavonte Freeman, 26, of Pell City arrested for two counts of Unlawful Distribution of a controlled substance.

Roberto Saldivar, 49, of Pell City arrested for Unlawful Possession of a controlled substance.

Shelly Third, 44, of Pell City arrested for Unlawful Distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Billy McMichael, 37, of Pell City arrested for Theft of property 1st degree.

Horace Gasaway, 59, of Pell City, arrested for failure to appear on charges of Carrying a concealed weapon, failure to appear on unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and Probation revocation. 

RAGLAND 

Donald Williams, 42, of Ragland was arrested for Failure to Appear Unlawful Possession of a controlled substance.

Jonathan Dunaway, 39, of Ragland, arrested for Failure to appear on Escape 1st degree.

Jesse Bunt, 22, of Ragland arrested for Unlawful Possession of a controlled substance and chemical endangerment of a child. 

SPRINGVILLE

Christopher Newsome, 37, of Springville arrested for two counts of Unlawful Distribution of controlled substance.
