Charles Aron Gandy

PELL CITY – Charles Aron Gandy, 78, of Pell City passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017.

Charlie was an exemplary illustration of a Christian gentleman. He was loved, respected and honored by all who knew him. Anyone who met Charlie loved him!

Preceding him in death was his first wife, Carolyn Weldon Gandy.

Mr. Gandy is survived by his wife, Connie Gandy; daughters, Kelli Gandy Bishop (Kenny) and Cheryl Gandy Bohannon (Andrew); grandchildren, Lily Bishop Commander (Jared), Olivia Bishop Gardner (Jarrod), Mitchell Bishop, and Jeweliana Bohannon; step-children, Tina Roney (Jamie) , Kent Smith (Brenda), Cherry Howell (Alan) and Wava Joy Rowe (Jay); and multiple extended family members that include step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and a host of friends.

The celebration of Mr. Gandy’s life was held on March 6, 2017 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds. Interment followed in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover.
