Let your pup strut their stuff at the inaugural Puppy Pageant

Does your furry forever friend have what it takes to be named best in show? Find out this summer at the inaugural CEPA Puppy Pageant!

On August 5 at 2 p.m. at the Pell City Center for Education and Performing Arts (CEPA), the Puppy Pageant will feature 20 of the County’s finest canines in competition for pet-centric prizes and the prestigious title of St. Clair County’s Perfect Pup. And it’s all for a good cause. Proceeds from the event support the Pell City Animal Control Center and its adoption and spay and neuter programs.

CONTESTANTS WILL COMPETE IN THREE AREAS

Puppy Parade – Mutt-strut for the judges

Best Dressed – Costume up!

Thinking about entering but worried your pup might not be ready for the big time? Don’t sweat it! All dogs are fit for this contest. In fact, a special treat for the audience will be to see some of the Animal Control Center’s current residents participate, and all will be available for adoption!

Here are a few of the categories that will be up for grabs:

Happiest Dog

Laziest Dog

Ugliest Dog
