Congratulations to Ashville’s own Jasmine Skye Morrow. The Bulldawg Band is so proud of this dancer. She will be joining the Jacksonville State Ballerinas for the 2922-2023 season.

This Saturday is the St Clair County Farmers Federation Women’s Committee Cotton Quilt Show at the Alfa building at 10 a.m. Contestants range from seventh grade and up. Winners will represent St.Clair County in Birmingham on August 6th. For more information contact stclaircountyfarsfed@gmail.com.

A lot of shelters are looking for temporary homes for animals who have been abandoned, abused or never had a family. They need patient, experienced animal lovers to help acclimate them to a permanent place. Call your local shelter with any questions.

Of course, true animal lovers know the most important question is if they will have to give them back.
