Harrison Foster, a senior at Briarwood Christian School, has accepted a baseball scholarship to William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Miss.

He is the son of Rick and Mary Foster, formerly of Pell City and now residing in Birmingham.  Harrison’s grandparents are Betty Foster, Pell City, and Richard and Joann Beard, Trussville.

Having attended Victory  Christian School through seventh grade, Harrison will graduate from Briarwood in May and plans to study communications in college.  

He hit three home runs and 11 doubles during his junior season for the Lions, batting in more than 20 runs and posting an average of .340. His fielding percentage last season was .984.
