FEMA:

·         To apply for FEMA Individual Assistance, individuals can go to FEMA’s Disaster Recovery Centers to speak to a FEMA representative in person to get information concerning disaster assistance:

o   Moody City Hall (670 Park Avenue)

o   DRC’s are open from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 7 days a week

COUNSELING:

For counseling & to talk with someone about the storm night & events following the storms: Please call the St. Clair County EMA at 205-884-6800, or after hours call Central Dispatch at 205-594-3333. Your contact information will then be passed on to a pastor, who will then get in touch with them.

D-SNAP (FOOD STAMPS):

New Hope Baptist Church– May 18 – 21, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (75 Cogswell Avenue, Pell City) – St. Clair County residents can apply for D-SNAP assistance

AMERICAN RED CROSS VSP VISION CARE:

For individuals who lost their eyeglasses during the recent storms, the American Red Cross has set up a program where those people can receive free eye exams or glasses, if prescribed. For more information, call VSP at 1-888-290-4964.
