County Rd. 6 (Argo Margaret Rd.) and Simmons Mtn./Mountain View Rd. in Springville closed this morning
Argo Police Chief James Downing issued the following, just after 8 a.m. today in regard to traffic conditions due to railroad work: “Argo-Margaret Road (County Rd. 6) will be closed at the railroad crossing from 8 a.m. this morning until further notice for repairs.
“We have been informed that a secondary route over Simmons Mtn./Mountain View Rd. has also been closed in Springville.”
Travel option from Argo to Trussville: Travel down Blackjack Rd. to the end, turn right on Annie Lee Rd. follow to the end, turn right on Whites Chapel Pkwy./Chalkville Mtn. Rd (road runs by Trussville Golf Course and Marvins). We will continue to update you as we learn more information.
Optional route through Springville to Argo: Travel down North on Highway 11 from Argo to the four way stop in Springville, turn right onto Hwy. 174, travel 4 to 5 miles, turn right on County Rd. 12 through Margaret city limits to Argo.
