FOOTBALL: In the spotlight: Justin Morgan, PCHS

Grade:  Senior.

Parents:  Keith and Chandra Morgan.

Position:  Wide receiver.  He moves to the position after starting as quarterback for most of last season.

Has changing positions been a hard adjustment?:  “Not at all.  I started off as a wide receiver, and having played quarterback helps me learn the routes easier.”

On defense:  He starts at cornerback.  “I like wide receiver best, although cornerback is fun when you shut down the wide receiver.”

Expectations for his senior season:  “For everybody to play hard, win every game, and go as deep as we can in the playoffs.  I want to win a ring.”

The team he’d most like to beat this year:  “Oxford.  That’s a big grudge match.  We’re going to go at it hard and give it everything.”

After high school:  “I’d like to play college football or any college sport.  I plan on studying forensic science or business law.”

Other varsity sports:  Baseball.
