Week Five Preview vs. Woodville (3-1)

The Lions host a Woodville team that is a bit of an enigma. Its defense shutout its first (Waterloo) and most recent (Coosa Christian) opponents, but in games against Jacksonville Christian and Vina the Panthers surrendered 104 points. These erratic stats bode well for the Lions’ explosive offense.

Defensively VCS will be challenged by a young and athletic quarterback in #1 Sophomore Nick Baker. Carrying the ball for Woodville and running their defense from the linebacker position will be #45 Sophomore Angel Montesdeoca, who is a very physical and fearless player on both sides of the ball.
