The Class of 2001 will be having fundraisers in honor of Kelley George Bodiford. You can preorder by contacting Kelly Hare at (205) 405-4140 or Denise Bell at (205) 577-0249  Plates include BBQ meat, buns, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans and desserts for $7.  You can get just a sandwich for $3 and sweet tea for $1. Dine-in or carryout.

On Tuesday, June 27, Yarborough’s Reptiles will be at Ragland City Hall beginning at 5:30 p.m.

On Friday, June 30 a Pizza Party/Finale will be at the Ragland Public Library beginning at 3 p.m. For more information, contact Librarian Sandi Maroney at (205) 472-2007.

The Ragland Splash Pad is open. To activate the splash pad, press the red button located on the green controller box.

The RHS Band is also having their annual community calendar sale. Please get with your favorite band member or myself to get your order in today. They will be selling them all summer. The price is $7.50 a calendar with one free listing (birthday, in memory of, anniversary) and .25 for each additional listing. Ads are $40 and tax deductible.

Birthdays for the month include BJ Briseno, Diane Palmer and Rylee Kay. Anniversaries include Jon and Brooki Kay and Tyler and Hannah Miller.
