St. Clair Extension to Host Blue & White Prostate & Lung Cancer Awareness Luncheon

Currently, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the two most prevalent types of cancer in St. Clair County just under breast cancer are prostate and lung cancer.

The CDC sites prostate cancer as being the most common, non-skin cancer among American men followed by lung cancer which is the leading cause of cancer death and the second most common cancer among both men and women in the United States.

To increase awareness of these types of cancer, the St. Clair County Extension Office is proud to announce that we will host a Blue & White Prostate & Lung Cancer Awareness Luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 11 a.m.—1 p.m. at the Pell City Civic Center. The luncheon is free and everyone is welcome but seating is limited. Since lunch will be provided, you must call our office at 205-338-9416 to reserve your seat. We will also be giving out lots of door prizes, so you don’t want to miss this very important luncheon!
