Congratulations to SHS Volleyball Senior, Kayla Bryant for committing to Point University.

Faith Community Church hosted a Servolution volunteer service day to clean up areas around Springville as an act of service for the community on Oct. 3.

Mike Taylor, Ron Brown, councilor Ann Brown and to incoming council members Dennis Griffen, Danny McCarley, volunteered to finish installing the new swings, putting the border up and spreading mulch at Argo Park on Oct. 3.

Springville SES Students from Ms. Putman’s class showed support for Breast Cancer Awareness with a “Pink Out” on Oct. 9.

Springville Pediatrics is hosting its 2nd Fall Festival, Saturday, Oct. 31 at Big Springs Park from noon until 3 p.m.

Springville Parks and Recreation

The Splash Pad at Big Springs Park is open for the 2020 Season. Admission is $2 per person. Saturdays & Sundays 1-5 p.m. The Splash Pad is closed for the the weekdays due to the Fall Schedule. Social distancing applies when not actively using the splash pad. Springville Library

The Springville Public Library is now open to the public by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Curbside Service remains available, Monday-Friday, 1:30-4:30 p.m. Springville Library will also continue to provide “Mystery Bags” for patrons upon request. Call to make an appointment for browsing, limited computer usage, or curbside pickup.

The Springville Preservation Society is taking reservations for use of the historic “Little House” located adjacent to the Police Department for events or meetings.
