What’s Up in Odenville
Clowns.
I hate them. I hate cute clowns, hobo clowns…ALL clowns. It’s illogical for the most part, I know, but I still hate them. My friends and family know this, so what do they do? Use this knowledge against me, of course! They post all sorts clown pictures on my social media page to the point I have panic attacks every time I see a new notification and text and email me clown videos as a form of torturous entertainment. Now that the “IT” movie has been released it’s even worse. I think clowns should be banned and I’m gonna start the movement.

This will be a fundraiser designed to draw the community together in a common cause, which is to help little four-year-old Kate Smith and her family. Kate has been approved for a spinal surgery that will alleviate problems associated with her Cerebral Palsy as she gets older. The funds will assist with the family’s living expenses while Kate’s mom Rhonda, a kindergarten teacher at Odenville Elementary School, is absent from work to transport Kate to therapy and care for her during her recovery. Festivities will begin at 2 p.m. and go through 10 p.m. Live music, car show, arts and crafts and more!
