Chicago Mike’s moves to Pell City

Chicago Mike’s is truly a family-run business. It is locally owned by Michelle and Kyle Collum, who are joined in its operation by their daughter Jenni Pennington and grandson Nick Lee, three generations working together.

After 21 years in Homewood, Chicago Mike’s Hot Dogs relocated to Pell City.  Named one of the Top 10 Hot Dog Joints in Alabama by al.com’s Best Things Alabama and “one of the 16 hot dogs to try before you die” by the Birmingham News, Chicago Mike’s brings a new flavor experience to the area.

The menu has a variety to choose from, including one-quarter pound all-beef hot dogs, one-third pound burgers, sausage dogs, stuffed potatoes, salads, and different homemade desserts each week.

“We are expanding our hours and our menu,” owner Michelle Collum said. ”Moving to Pell City brings us closer to home.”

Chicago Mike’s believes in large portions of fresh, delicious food, and their motto is “if you leave hungry, it’s your fault!”

The new location at 2300 Cogswell Ave. In Pell City is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. (8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.) Tables are available lunch or dinner inside, at the picnic tables, or grab it to go.
