Springville Schools moved to virtual schooling as Covid-19 numbers rose in the area as school returned after the new year for the first week of school.

Springville Elementary Principal, Mr. Longshore recognized the SES 2020/2021 Support Person of the Year, Mrs. Janet Rush, and SES 2020/2021 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Natasha Hurd on Jan. 7.

Members of the SHS FFA Chapter participated in preparing wreaths for veteran’s graves with the local DAR Chapter for Wreaths Across America on Dec. 20.

Due to rising Covid-19 cases, the Springville Public Library and other city offices have temporarily closed all lobbies to in-person visitors.

The Springville Senior Center will be closed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic until further notice.
