What’s Up in Odenville: Check out our list of local stores for last minute gifts
Hello Readers! I’m back with this weeks edition of What’s Up in Odenville!
T-Minus three days until Christmas, so all you Last Minute Lucies better get it in gear! I’m in that same boat, although I do have a majority of it done. I just have a couple of things that I haven’t been able to find, so I will be that person running all over the place in panic mode on Christmas Eve. ‘Tis the Season, right?
Lets get to the news:
There isn’t much in the way of news this week. I hope you have a very Merry and Safe Christmas!
OYAA will be having Officer and Commissioner elections Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Odenville Elementary School lunchroom. All positions are open for election or re-election with the exception of Basketball Commissioner, that election will be later in the year. Persons must be in good standing with OYAA (meaning doesn’t have any outstanding registration balance or have not had any disciplinary issues during the past season) to be nominated/elected. If you have any questions, please call Marlon Mashburn (205) 540-8074.
Reminder that Odenville now has a Blessing Box and it is located in front of Blast from the Past Barber shop. If you find yourself in need stop by and help yourself, however we ask that you take only take what you need so we can help as many as possible. Donations are welcome but please make sure they are unopened and in date. If the box is full you can leave your donations at the barber shop.
