Ragland News: PTO Fall Festival

Ragland PTO held its fall festival on Oct. 30 at the Ragland School. They held costume contest, offered concessions, all kinds of booths, held a chili cook-off, and featured a bouncy house.  The winner for the costume contest for K-2 was Mahaylee Evans, for grades 3-6 it was Kennedy Kay, and the winner of the chili cook-off was Jana Jones. It was an exciting day for us all.  I hope next year we can have a “Haunted House” (Please).

The Ragland Library had 394 people to come to its Trick-or-Treat night. Kerry, Kloey and Zoey Poe had a fortune telling and memory games.  Michelle, Billy Bouthwell helped Mrs. Sandi keep track of the trick or treaters, she says Thank you all for the help. Also, the Kiosk unveiling is scheduled for Thursday at 4:30 p.m. refreshments will be available.  Come on out! They will also have a canned food drive Nov. 3-19, so please bring canned food items to help out people in our area.

Birthdays this week are: Polly White, Abbey Bliss, Crystal Kay, Todd Hardy, Angela Barnard, Christen Colley, Angela Hannah, Ciara Isbell & Jayda Nachole.

We also would like to send our thought and prayers to the Burnham family in the passing of Mr. Harold Burnham Jr.

Please let me know if I have missed anyone or anything.

Love you all!
