James M. (Brother Jim) Partain, Jr.

Graveside services for Mr. James M. (Brother Jim) Partain, Jr., 86, of Pell City, were held Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Forest Hills Cemetery with Brother Kevin Blackwell officiating.

Mr. Partain passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2008.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue P. Partain.

Mr. Partain is survived by his sons, Ron (Sandra) Partain, Rick (Anne) Partain, Pete Partain; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Partain was the Director of Birmingham Baptist Camp at Cook Springs for many years. He was Pastor of Joiner Christian Mission at Moody and Lister Memorial Baptist Church.

The family requests that donations be made to Gideon International, P. O. Box 973, Pell City, Alabama 35125.

Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the services.
