Talladega County Sheriff’s office looking for teenage runaways

The Talladega County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two teenage girls who ran away from a foster home in the Childersburg area according to a press release.

Abigail Brooke Jones, 14, is described as being 5 feet 2 inches white female weighing 100 pounds with red or auburn color hair and brown eyes.

The second girl Maddison Leilana Hancock, 15 is described as a 5 feet 4 inches tall white female weighing 100 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

The girls were believed to last be seen on July 19 around 10 a.m. at a temporary foster care home they had been living in. The foster parent notified CHR and the Sheriff’s Office immediately upon finding out they had left.

The direction of their travel is unknown along with a description of their clothing.

Anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of either of the girls should contact the Talladega County Sheriff’s Department at 256-761-2141.
