Leeds Moody Messenger
November is a time for thankfulness and a time to reflect on the many blessing that each of us enjoy. As I thought about the many reasons that I am thankful, here are a few that came to mind. I am so very thankful to have wonderful Christian parents and grandparents that taught me much about life and the reason for living. I am thankful for my wonderful husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandson. I am thankful for the many friends that God has given me. I am thankful for the opportunity to live in the United States with all of the benefits that we enjoy. I am thankful for the free enterprise system where there is opportunity to work hard and create your own successes. I am thankful for a holy and gracious God who watches over and cares for you and me. My list goes on and on. With Thanksgiving Day just a week away, I encourage you to pause and think about what you might be thankful for. In all things, give thanks.
As we think about what we are thankful for, there are those all around us who may be in need. Leeds Outreach is once again looking for sponsors for their Christmas for Kids program.
