Confederate Railroad coming to Pell City
Confederate Railroad
Featuring Melissa Lee and Two Halos Shy
October 6 • 7 p.m. • CEPA
Tickets $20 | $40 VIP
You know the songs. You know the band. But you’ve never seen them on stage in Pell City.
Join the Pell City Center for Education and Performing Arts (CEPA) on October 6 for one night only as we present legendary recording artists Confederate Railroad, known for world-famous hits including “Queen of Memphis,” “Jesus and Mama,” “Trashy Women,” and ”Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind.” These became major hits and established Confederate Railroad as a key part of country music’s landscape during the ‘90s.
Few acts have carved as distinctive a niche in modern musical history as Confederate Railroad. With their high-energy combination of honky-tonk rockers, sensitive ballads, and offbeat humor, they have created a unique identity that has brought them chart success, multi-platinum sales and continued popularity. For guys who started as a Georgia bar band, it was the stuff of dreams.
Joining Confederate Railroad on stage October 6 are local artists Two Halos Shy, a talented local country duet of Madibeth Morgan and Anna Tamburello. These two teenagers have been singing and writing music since before either of them could legally drive a car.
Two Halos Shy is currently working on their first album, and to date, the duo has seen some of the biggest stages in music. Among many festivals and private events, the ladies have played Tin Roof Nashville during CMA Fest and several writer’s rounds, despite their young age.
Tickets are on sale now. Cost is $20 for Reserved Seating, and VIP Tickets that include access to a private reception before the event are only $40. Buy yours by visiting pellcitycepa.com or calling our Ticket Hotline at (256) 358-7546.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the main show begins at 7 p.m.
