Leeds/Moody News: Leeds drive-in to open this spring

Construction is progressing well on the new four-screen drive-in theater, and it will be a reality soon. They are planning a spring opening date, depending upon the weather. As Mayor David Miller said, “This is not the mom-and-pop facility in a cow pasture with plywood screens like some around here…it is state-of-the-art, all-digital technology and will show two screens with family movies and two with general first run movies.” The Mayor was interviewed last week by ABC 3340 and an outline of the project was shown. This is a big boost to the Leeds area and should draw people locally as well as from our entire region.
