Alabama State Troopers are investigating after a two-vehicle collision claimed the life of a Pell City man Saturday evening in Talladega County.

James Walter Green, 53, was killed when the 1998 Kawasaki motorcycle he was operating struck a 2003 Mercury Marquis, according to Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Marquis was driven by Christopher Lynn Hallmark, 39, of Talladega. Hallmark was uninjured. 

The crash occurred at 4:50 p.m. on May 13, 10 miles west of Talladega on Alabama Hwy. 34.
