A men’s tennis team from Pell City competed in the USTA Southern Tri-level Invitational tournament this past weekend.

The tournament was held in Jackson, Miss. Top tennis teams from the southern region of the country were invited to compete. The Pell City men’s team won the tournament, undefeated. To get the win, they had to compete against teams from Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and Arkansas.

“Our men’s program at PC Tennis is top notch,” Sarah Stewart, Pell City Tennis Pro said. “All of these men have worked hard and put PC Tennis on the map.”

Team members are: Daniel Leonard, Charlie Rogers, Hugh Bain, Craig Alverson, Greg Champion, Tom Leonard, and Ronnie McFarling. The captain of our team is Tom Leonard.
