Interment was at Box Cemetery in Ragland.

Charlie and Jerry Sue were/are my close friends. Charlie and I worked together in the St. Clair County 4-H Club back in the 1940s. We both held offices and were on the St. Clair County 4-H Club Council when the late Mr. W. D. Jackson was the 4-H Club County Agent.

Both Charlie and Jerry Sue were and are devoted Christians and active members of First Baptist Church, Ragland, AL

Jerry Sue and I have served on the St. Clair Associational W.M.U. Leadership Team for many years.

This couple has made, and continues to make great contributions to our area. They were/are among my favorite and most unforgettable people.

Charlie will be greatly missed by all of us who knew and loved him.
