What’s Up In Odenville:College football and community news

Hello readers! I’m back with this weeks edition of What’s Up in Odenville.

It’s here. The day that every football fan on the planet has been waiting for. COLLEGE FOOTBALL KICKOFF. The teams that matter to those of us in Alabama have their season openers this Saturday. Auburn Tigers take on Louisville at 2:30 p.m. and Alabama Crimson Tide will take on Wisconsin at 7 p.m. Now, I myself have a little red in me and I will trash talk with the best of them. I host my Super Saturday Trashtalk Smackdown on social media, which will typically lose me a few friends for the remainder of the football season. My football nemesis Brandi Mandeville pulls for crimson and white while I bleed orange and blue and we will get into some serious mud slingin’ hurting each other’s feelings (like a true Southern gal can) Between us, she thinks she knows all about football, and I have to prove she doesn’t all the while we entertain folks with our arguing. Let’s all remember its in good fun and it’s not a matter of life or death.

Or is it?

Let’s get to the news:
