Pell City BB&T robbery suspect arrested
A suspect in the March robbery of a Pell City bank was arrested by U.S. marshals in Pensacola, Fla., late Wednesday afternoon, according to a news release by Pell City Police Chief Paul Irwin, Jr.
The release states that Kelvin Carnell Golden, 32, was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. He is currently being held in Escambia County Florida.
Golden is a suspect in the March 31 robbery of the Pell City BB&T and several other robberies, Irwin noted.
“I’m pleased that Golden has been arrested for the Pell City robbery,” Irwin said. “This arrest is the result of the hard work of the U.S. Marshals Office and their Fugitive Task Force, the FBI, the Jefferson County Metro Area Crime Center and our Pell City officers.”
Golden, 32, is a Florida native with ties to Alabama, according to his FBI wanted poster.
No additional information was released.
