The Pell City Soccer Program will host a girls’ junior varsity tournament this weekend at the high school field and civic center soccer complex.  A total of nine teams are scheduled to compete, including Pell City, Hoover, Chelsea, Hewitt-Trussville, Southside (Gadsden), Gadsden City, Smith Station, Benjamin Russell and Fort Payne.  The Lady Panthers will play Friday at 4:30 p.m. against Chelsea and at 7 p.m. against Fort Payne and 10:30 a.m. Saturday against Southside.  Weekend admission is $20 for adults, with children admitted free.
