Ragland wins first-round playoff game
The Ragland Purple Devils defeated the Gaylesville Trojans 46-8 to advance to the second round of Class 1A playoffs. It was the Purple Devils’ second defeat of Gaylesville this year, having beaten the Trojans in Week 5. Now 11-0, Ragland was ranked third in the state at the end of the regular season.
