Amy Jean Carter, age 75, of Ragland, AL, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2012.

The family received friends Wednesday, October 24 from 6 until 8 p.m.  Services for Mrs. Amy Jean Carter were held today, October 25 at 11 a.m. Interment followed at St. Clair Memorial Gardens, Pell City. As the spouse of a veteran, Mrs. Carter will be the first interment in what will become Usery Funeral Home and St. Clair Memorial Garden’s new veteran’s section.

Mrs. Carter is preceded in death by her son, Robert Mark Carter.

She is survived in death by her husband of 59 years and 4 days, John A. Carter, son, Michael Carter, grandchildren, Jessica Castro-Carter, Kevin Carter and Tiffany Carter, great-grandchildren, Michelle, Loraine, David and Mark.
