Happy anniversary to: Wayne and Pat Arnold; Bill and Pat Daffron and Harold and Khrystal Fairchilds.

On Thursday, April 4, the Police Academy of Anniston held their graduation exercises of about 80 people.  Jonathan Yarbrough, son of Diana, was one of the people that graduated from the academy.  Jonathan is the grandson of Johnny and Patsy Hyatt, of Chandler Mountain.  Others that attended were: Lillie Ann Campbell, Linda Southern, and Cheryl Smith.  Jonathan is employed at the Anniston Police Department.

Macedonia Baptist Church is growing by leaps and bounds.  On Easter Sunday, after the morning services, a baptism service was held in which Frank Lackey and John and Amber McCarthy were baptized.  There were also some that joined by letters from other churches.

On Sunday, April 7, Fairview Baptist Church hosted a singing after the morning services and a luncheon.  The Commodores, of Hanceville, were the guest singers, which everyone enjoyed.

Condolences are extended to the family of Jean Ferrell in the recent loss of their loved one.
