Registration for the 8th annual Kids’ Catfish Classic will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at Lakeside Park.  The free event is sponsored by the Pell City Parks and Recreation Department.

Children ages two to 12, accompanied by a parent or guardian, are invited to fish from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in a designated area stocked with catfish.  Each child will be allowed to keep a maximum of three fish, and the pier area will be blocked off to assist those with special needs.  

Participants are asked to bring their own fishing rods, bait, and stringers or ice chests.
