Brook Besor to host first 5K fundraiser

The Antivirus at the Brook Besor will host their first walk/run 5K fundraiser on Saturday October 6.  

Proceeds will benefit the child oncology unit at Children’s Hospital.  You can help out by participating in the race and/or become a sponsor by making donations.  A bronze sponsorship is $1000; a silver $5000; a gold $7500.  The Brook Besor is seeking one primary sponsor for the event who will donate $10,000.

The event begins at 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Participants may register for the event early or the day of the race starting at 7 a.m.  The registration fee is $20.  The first 100 registered participants receive a free t-shirt.

All registered participants will be entered to win door prizes to be given away throughout the day.  Medals will be awarded to top runners in each age group.  There will be a Fun Run for kids, and each Fun Run participant receives a prize.

Child are will be provided during the event by trained professionals from a local preschool.

Other entertainment includes music and fall festival games and prizes.
