● Congratulations to Springville High School’s boys basketball team (Tigers) for winning the 2017 St. Clair County Basketball Tournament.
● Congratulations are also in order for the Springville Lady Tigers basketball team for winning the 2017 St. Clair County Varsity Tournament.
● Springville Middle School will host the 41st Annual “Queen of Hearts” Pageant, Saturday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. All proceeds will benefit the Springville High School Marching Band.
● The Springville McDonald’s restaurant is hosting a “Daddy-Daughter Date Night,”Tuesday, February 7 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. that features a free happy meal with adult purchase. (Mom’s and sons are welcome.)
● The Springville VFW, Post 3229 is selling memorial pavers to honor a veteran. The pavers will be displayed at Big Springs Park in Springville. The pavers are $50 each with the proceeds going to benefit Springville VFW Post 3229. Orders must be placed before March 31st to get the paver in before the Memorial Day ceremony. Contact Cmdr. ● The Senior Center in Springville will offer crochet and ceramic classes for the public of all ages for a $20 fee to benefit the Senior Center. Contact the Senior Center at (205) 467-6022 for more information.
● Springville Youth Baseball and Softball registration is now available online, in-person registration will be Saturday, February 18th at Springville Middle School for one day only.

● The Springville Civil Air Patrol meets every Tuesday from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the National Guard Armory. The age requirement is 12-18 years of age and adults may also join as senior members. Cadets learn leadership skills, aerospace, character development, as well as team work. Cadets also learn piloting skills.
