ODENVILLE – Representatives from the Odenville Area Business Association, the City of Odenville, the St. Clair County Economic Development Council, and others gathered last week for the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Southern Pipe & Supply’s new location on U.S. Highway 411.
“We are always excited to see new businesses come to Odenville both to serve the community and become part of our network of businesses,” said Trese Mashburn, director of the Odenville Area Business Association and columnist at the News-Aegis. “All of our experience, community participation and interaction with one another makes us a stronger community as a whole. We are glad to have Southern Pipe & Supply officially open as a part of the Odenville business community.”
Originally opening their doors in 1938, Southern Pipe & Supply is now one of the largest privately owned, independent distributors of brand name plumbing, heating, air-conditioning (HVAC), industrial, mechanical and water works supplies in the Southeast with over 90 locations.
“Odenville is always proud to see new businesses come into our community,” said Mayor Buck Christian. “As a growing community, we are seeing new businesses pop up almost monthly, and we are excited to see this new business in particular come to help supply the construction needs of our community.”
“We’re looking forward to being a staple in the community,” concluded Casey Jones, branch manager at the new location. “We’re really excited to be here.”
