Living the Dream: Making a New Year’s resolution come true

- Fulfilling a 2012 New Year’s goal she wasn’t sure would actually come true, Moody’s Michelle Cleveland met her “Prince Charming” in the form of Tim Tebow. The question remains for 2013 will the New York Jets make a commitment to Tebow and will Tebow commit to Cleveland?
Resolutions, many make them and several break them before they’ve actually even truly begun working on them.
But one Moody resident and Pell City High School graduate made sure her 2012 New Year’s resolution came true.
Michelle Cleveland participated in last year’s St. Clair News-Aegis’ “What’s Your New Year’s Resolution” article where she said, “I’m thinking 2012 is the year Michelle meets Tebow.”
Perhaps no more than a lofty idea, this Tim Tebow teamster made her dream a reality.
Meeting at a charity function in Montgomery on March 16, 2012 (yes that’s 3:16), Cleveland met who she calls her perfect Prince Charming.
“I like him because he is a Christian role model, extremely handsome and determined.”
Easing her way into conversation with him, she reverted to her custom made Tebow bangle.
“My sister gave me this Italian charm bracelet with pictures of Tebow on it for Christmas last year,” Cleveland said. “I used it as my conversation starter to get his attention. He said it was awesome.”
Taking her adoration to the next level by saying those famous three words…
“I told him I love him,” said Cleveland. “He said ‘Thank you.”
As a former employee at Disney World, Cleveland played Wendy from Peter Pan, she understands the meaning of true enchantment.
Summing up her once-in- a-lifetime meeting with Tebow in one word, Cleveland says she was excited.
Proof that even your wildest dreams can come true, the challenge is now extended to see what you can accomplish in the new year.
2013 is the year to achieve your goals.
Make it happen, and you too will be living the dream.
