Town & Country Ford wins Partners in Quality Award

Last week Town & Country Ford in Pell City received one of the highest honors from Ford Motor Company and Ford Credit, the prestigious Partners in Quality award for the 2018 sales year.
“This is a great accomplishment,” said Town & Country Ford Pell City General Manager Doug Bailey, “It took a solid plan and team effort to get here. This really means a lot to us—it’s one of the most difficult to win. We’ve been trying almost 10 years.”
There are over 3000 Ford dealerships nationally and of those, only 113 receive the Partners in Quality Award.
“My goal since 2009 was to one day win this award,” said Steve Watts, co-founder of Town & Country Ford in Bessemer and Pell City. “This is really about relationships, and the only more important relationship is with our associates here in Pell City.”
In order to earn the Ford Credit Partners in Quality Award, a dealership has to be in the top 15 of tier 3 dealerships across the U.S., increase new, pre-owned and certified vehicle purchases, and have exceptional overall customer satisfaction, which for Town & Country Ford in Pell City, was over 90 percent.
“Getting this award is pretty difficult,” said General Manager of the Southeast market Jim King. “There’s only 113 dealers across the country and only 16 in the southeast group that have earned this award. It’s a huge honor to be here.”
Jaime Holladay, Financial Services Director for Town & Country Ford Pell City, led efforts to earn the award. He worked closely with customers and Business Development Manager Lashawn Williams, who is the financial representative for Bessemer and Pell City.
“[Jaime] would contact me every day, every week, every month to get updates on where the numbers were,” Williams said. “We had to go strong in 2018 to get this award.”
Bill Sain and Steve Watts purchased Town & Country Pell City in 2009. In 2017, they opened their new facility which is over 27,000 square feet and is touted as one of the most technologically advanced dealerships in Alabama.
“We are really thankful for our customers and creating customer satisfaction,” said Holladay.
